Orange World link to "Trial free for 30 days - RAC TrafficMaster on your phone". What a great idea.

Followed the link and downloaded the ractraffic-i.cab file which, as expected, attempted to install itself. Error message pops up to tell me the application does not have a trusted certificate and cannot be installed.

All this from an Orange posted link, plus my E200 is application unlocked anyway!

Any suggestions? Orange CS don't seem able to understand what my problem is - how odd . They initially pointed me to the handango site, telling me it was one of their applications but it doesn't exist on their site. Nor on the RAC site, nor on the Orange software site (handango/orange).

Anyone else tried it? O CS suggested I relock the phone and do it again but I can't see what difference that would make. Or am I being thick :?:

I don't think a Smartphone version is available, so i'm guessing the link is for the M1000 / XDA2 version?

Traffic-i on the Symbian Px00 is great, and only about £30/year.

Well worth looking at when an MS Smartphone version comes out, although I'm not sure how well it will handle on such a small screen.

Thanks chaps. At least it's not me :!: Quite a waste of over 1Mb of my GPRS package :D though. I suppose it depends how the smaller screen handles the mapping but £4 a month seems a lot to me.

It depends on how much you'd use it, and how much you hate getting stuck in jams.

Coverage of A roads is a bit sparse, and B roads just dont appear, but for any trip involving the M25 (and/or other motorways) it's quick and easy to check the current situation.

I use it a few times per year, and I hate jams so it's well worth the money IMO. Plus it's quite a cool "gizmo", I like the stuff that interacts with the real world. :D

This is available for E200, but only on a 7 day trial. Works well, and looks good. £39.99 for a year after the trial, plus some GPRS charges.

Get it here and select the E200 as your handset.

atonks - thanks for the link. Got the download and I'll give it a whirl once I get a replacement E200. The back key is sticking now and (hilariously) keeps eating my messages :!:
