AIM on Smartphone??

I'm in my 15 day trial period with Verizon and have the Samsung i600. But I can't figure out a way to do AIM on it, and so I may have to cancel and return the phone as this is rather important to me.

I tried Agile Messenger. Apparently there is a bug (which is also in the Symbian version) that only allows you to receive AIM messages, but when you send them, the other party does not receive it.

I also tried IM+, but appreantly there is a problem with this program installing on the i600. It's documented on the Shape Services help board at their website and they have no solution for the problem. The registry patch at Samsung's website does not help this problem.

And then there is imov Messenger which I tried last night. I can sign on, send and receive messages fine, but when I try to sign off, the phone hangs and I have to remove the battery to restart the phone again. Worse yet, when this happens, AIM keeps me signed on indefinately and I miss any messages which are sent to me.

Does anyone know of any other Smartphone solutions for AIM?? I really like this phone, but this will be a dealbreaker for me. :D
