Hi,

Got an SPV E200 a couple of weeks ago which seemed to be a fab phone apart from the fact that the battery lasted less than a day and the SD card reader cant read all SD cards.

Orange then annoyed me by displaying a free office and timeout memory card on their site which had no t&cs attached. They said i was not entitled to one as it was only given free if you placed your order over the internet. I spoke to trading standards and they advised me i was entitled to one as there is no t&cs. I therefore advise you to all contact orange and ask for your free card.

I Returned the phone under the sales of goods act as it is clear that the phone doesnt do what it states and caus im peed of with orange rubbish customer service.

Interesting point is that I just looked at the orange website and it is not appearing on the site or the other smarthphone ????

If you have any probs getting a free card out of orange then drop me an email.

When I asked my local Orange shop for the card, which was also advertised in their newest brochure, I didn't get one because they ran out. Anything good on the card say you?

Orange actually gave me 2 cards. The 8mb which was advertised and 30mb a ministry of sound card which was sent 3 weeks after I ordered the phone. Both had the 60 day Clear vue office trial which I haven't used yet.

Hi,

Not sure if the contents of the card are any good, but orange need to sort their lifes out so that if they advertise something as free then to give it to people when they ask. I only wanted it so that I could blank it and put some tunes on it. Trading standards said that I was entitled to it else orange would be of breech of contract and that I could cancel my upgrade.Give orange a call and see what rubbish they spout u when you ask for the card. If you get no where ill send you the address for the company secratary for will sort it out 4 u.

I got bought my e200 last week from high st shop. The supplied 8mb sd card had some apps incl. Dockware, Powerpoint viewer, 'Rebound game' + few more I can't remember. Though I certainly didn't get any Office apps.

I've just called Orange and they said normally they only supply blank SD cards. Am I lucky or should I expect more -the 30Mb Ministry of Sound card sounds like a result! What was the deal there?

I found the t&cs on the Internet and it said that upgrade customers don't get one, unfortunate for me... :D

I got the Ministry of sound card through the post without requesting it. It just got posted to me by courier 20 days after my e200 was delivered. I also recieved the 8mb card with the original package. The Ministry card has "music and travel" written on it and was designed for the Motorola MPx200. It has a nice big sticker on the front saying compatible with the SPV e200. The full contents are a few MOS tracks and videos, a TimeOut city guide to 85 cities and a 60 day ClearVue office trial.

I've not had my e200 a month yet and I'm on a £25 a month anytime contract.
