Guest cellfreak Posted April 11, 2004 Report Posted April 11, 2004 I had my PC turned off so I had no USB power from it. I just happened to remember that my High Definition cable box had a USB plug. It worked, just turned the power on it plugger my USB into the port and charging right up it went. Cellfreak.

If you have just turned your pc off using the switch normally located on the front and haven't switched off the device at the mains then power is still going into the pc. This means that the USB ports should still have power on them. Give it a go!
