Guest cellfreak Posted April 11, 2004 Report Posted April 11, 2004 Got bored one weekend and had just seen Starsky and Hutch. I had an extra handset laying around and the rest is history. I have unlocked my MPX200 to work with Cingular here in the United States. I have all the GPRS settings for Cingular working right. My wallpaper is of my new 2004 Scion xB Cellfreak
Guest TANKERx Posted April 17, 2004 Report Posted April 17, 2004 I really like the look of that! Now call me stupid for believing you but does it work well? And was it as simple a case as of joining the cables together and voila?

I have all the http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=4861>GPRS settings for Cingular working right. Cellfreak I am interested in doing the same thing. I currently have cingular service and want to stay with them. I have a cingular sim card in my current phone. How exactly does it work and what are you able to do with the phone once it is set up for Cingular? For example: 1) Can you look up a number in Outlook Contacts and then just push a button and auto dial it? 2) What type of web service are you getting from Cingular (if any) and how much does it cost? Are you able to use the phone as a modem for a laptop? 3) Did you have to do anything with Cingular customer service? Most of them are un-informed and the only crappy aspect of dealing with Cingular. Thanks
