How to use Sprite Backup for xphone..I got problems that is I'm already installed it>Then I go to backup, but it shows me stopping programs and it automatically resets..everytime, how can I do if I want to backup sms and contact only...except spstudio cuz it can't backup in Thai, Cld you pls recemmend me some choices or programs pls..Thankz

Make sure you have the phones radio turned off(airplane mode) so that it cannot be interuppted during backup. Also make sure all the applications are closed. Other than that you may need to talk with Sprite and have tech service help you. it is a great backup utility.

what programs are you running? any xbar type programs? after a reset load up the log file it should show what programs its closeing. (StorageBackupLog.txt or IPSMBackupLog.txt)

I've already closed all programs that are running now, but it still doesn't work... Got the same problems again... Then I look up at /Storage/Backuplog.txt......

What carrier are you using? It seems its running in unpriviledged mode, it shouldn't install in this case, anyways this means it can't access some areas of the phone to backup, the most important being GPRS settings, and the "Remove Programs" data.

hmm but its weird its failing if its a backup to pc, i just tried filling up my storage card and doing a backup to PC incase its checking the storage card space when it shouldn't, but it works fine on my E200.

Well i can see why it appears to just "crash" it thinks you've pushed "home" after a backup, thats because something is putting it into the background, can't think what that would be...

What happens when you remove the storage card and do a backup?

No the poster means remove the staorage card from the phone. There is no reason to remove data unless you are out of space. Backup to your PC. Send an email to Sprite they also have a forum.
