I know there is a hardware specific section on the forum, but how about a New Hardware section that we can look to for news of new handsets that are either on the horizon or out?

The News forum will cover any new announced and upcoming devices. Check the portal every couple of days and you should see anything new :D

I think a new hardware section would be ideal. A few weeks ago i was potentially looking for a new handset but didnt know where to look. I checked the forum, but although i found some detail, there were pages of posts of stuff which didnt help me. I think a technical catalogue would be the way to go, detailing each handset and the date it was released.

Anyone else agree?

Thanks for the reply Mono, but I'm looking more for an up-to-date and straight to the point listing of what's out and what's coming out that enables me to decide which phone to buy and, whilst I appreciate that it may be in here somewhere, I don't think that it's currently easily accessible without some serious trawling or posting questions to discover.

Not a criticism, more of a suggestion for the many people looking for a relatively objective and definitely informative means of making choices. I just think that, as it is a constantly searched for topic that is relevant to this forum, then it probably merits a dedicated area.

yeh, agree. Sort of like a top 10 of what's going to be coming. Straight to the point, with as much specs as possible or what the specs might/could be, photo's etc etc. Like the other guy said, it would help us with an idea as what to upgrade to.
