Guest Jon_ Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 is it possible to hide the "taskbar" above were the soft buttons are when the phone is locked, since when its locked the left softbar is the unlock one, which im sure every phone user knows,so my thinking was it would create a cleaner looking hompage for when the phone is locked, is this possible at al? hope you know what i mean Jon
Guest kurtfhouse Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 Can't answer the question mate but I would be interested aswell. Also is it possible to make the background to the soft key buttons transparent that would mean a cleaner looking home screen when the phone was unlocked aswell???? :?
Guest nickcornaglia Posted April 14, 2004 Report Posted April 14, 2004 I dont think you can make the color behind the soft buttons transparent at the bottom of the screen nor have them temporarily disappear unless someone wrote an app to do this. There is a program called Dockware or something similar that acts as a screensaver of sorts when the phone is docked. It can be configured to show the date and/or time or a monthly calendar while doing a slideshow of background pictures. I'm not sure but maybe this can be configured to activate while not in the cradle. But to answer your specific questions...not with the current programming of the phone.
