where do you put wav files for ringtones on 8390

just as above, where do the wav files go!?!?

I am not quite sure, but. It is not on The SD Card. It is in the phone , when you open the phone using active sync , put it to Sounds folder. Also be aware that not all quality sound will be recognized. Cause maximum bitrate for mitac is 56khz. So the best thing would be if you copy music to SD CARD , and then activesync will convert the file to appropriate size and sound quality , and then copy it from the SD card to the Phone , in the Sound Folder.

The folder you're looking for is \Storage \Application Data \Sounds on the phone.
