Installed and ran, and definitely toggles back light to stay on but won't toggle back off... I hve to go into power management to reset to auto-off (amusingly the power management options look execatly as they were - i.e. 10 secs screen-off - just going into p-mgmt and exiting resets the auto off... weird)

I've got an orange SPV e200 and installed the infamous ROM upgrade a couple of weeks ago. What looks like a menu screen flashes up and disappears again in the blink of an eye(!) - should that stay there to select options or summink?? Poss a ROM difference problem...

Been off for a while...

The app should change settings back to what they were when you disconnect the power source, so if backlight was set to go off after 10 secs this would be restored. The flashing when the app starts was to enable it to be run from the startup folder when the phone is powered on, it in effect sends the window to the background. Its not exactly pretty but sort of works. If you load the app again it will give you the chance to change options, it won't load from scratch again.

I hope this makes sense, I can change things, time and ability permitting, if you've got suggestions.
