UK MPx200 Help!!!!!

Hey there people, i know am a newbie to this site but any help would be great! So here goes....

So i thought, clean the phone up, delete all the rubbish and remove loadsa progs as the phone told me that i was low on storage so i looks at the system info to be completely confused!

Ive got a 30mb SD Card in, thought i was installing everthing on the card only to realise today when i looked at system info the Internal says ive only got 14% left(1.4/10.3MB) but is says my SD Card is 99% free!!?!?!?

Help! i dunno if ive gotta format the SD Card, move stuff around or what but something here isnt right!

Welcome to the site :D

When installing anything you should be prompted to the location of the install Phone or Storage Card.

What may be filling up your phone are SMS (send and recieved) and homescreens you may have installed.

Sent SMS and emails are located in the IPSMMAPI folder

you can delete the contents of this folder if needed.

thanks for that mate, ive figured a bit more out since i first post that, now yeah when ive been installing stuff i have tried to be careful about where i put things, the only thing i can be sure about is that my storage card has loadsa room, but my IPSM is full, thats the problem ive having, is there anyway to move anything from the IPSM to the SD without any major problems?

What programs have you installed into IPSM since you got the phone ? You need to uninstall and reinstall them onto the storage card.

Also do you have multiple homescreens / ringtones stored in IPSM

Application Data ? You need to keep these down to a minimum.

Have you got photos or voice notes stored in IPSM My Documents ?

you can generally move every thing you have installed, using widows explorer. After moving the file create a shortcut (right click on the executive and click create shortcut) Then move the shortcut to ipms/windows/start menu

Alternatively you could do a hard reset, which would clear everything you have installed on the phone, you could then reinstall everything you wanted to the storage card.
