ActiveSync Bug???

Hello All, and great site.

I have a i600 and I thinks it's great.

When I Syncf with my PC the setting on the mail re-set. To get e-mail again I have to goto the e-mail setting and re-comfirm the setting.

Question; is there a way to ActiveSync and e-mail without re-setting the phono every time?

Smartphone 2002 only lets you sync ONE mail account at a time.

If you want to be able Send/Receive on a POP or IMAP account wirelessly on your phone you need to disable Inbox synchronization in ActiveSync on your PC.

If you want to Sync your Inbox via ActiveSync....it will automatically disable your mail settings on your phone.

There is no getting around this on 2002....but 2003 allows you to sync as many mail accounts as you wish...including ActiveSync Inbox.

But that doesnt currently help you with the i600 and the 2002 OS.

Thanks for the info, ,, is there a 2003 update for the i600 out on the street yet?

I have had many phones over the years, and I would say that the i600 is the best ones yet. It has been working very well for my style of use.
