Guest millbrook Posted April 16, 2004 Report Posted April 16, 2004 Hi all, Somewhere - and can't remember where now ! - I read that the memory limitations on the SPV E100 cna be improved i.e that the limin to fth 7MB can be raised to nearer the full memory capability of the phone. Does anyone here have any ideas ?
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted April 16, 2004 Report Posted April 16, 2004 Unlikely, the majority of that memory is taken up by the OS and other stuff that comes with the phones.
Guest ChrisJM Posted April 17, 2004 Report Posted April 17, 2004 Its prolly the Mitac Meo Overclocking program your thinking of...
Guest millbrook Posted April 19, 2004 Report Posted April 19, 2004 Thanks both. Chris, can you tell me more about the one you mentioned ? I want to be able to make the most of this phone without having to resort to using MMC/SD cards too much. :D
Guest Vector Posted April 19, 2004 Report Posted April 19, 2004 The mitac overclocking app only works on the intel processors - currently only mitac smartphones :D So it won't work on your E100.... ;)
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted April 19, 2004 Report Posted April 19, 2004 It is advisable to use SD cards with the phone as that is the best way to get the most out of the phone, as it keeps the phones memory free. Ideally it's nice to have a 256MB SD card.
