Extra stuff in Dutch update which isn't in the UK update

Just to let you guys know.

I tried the UK Rom and now the Dutch Rom.

The Dutch version has an extra application which the UK rom didn't have.

PV Player 3.3 (build 108)

PV Player stands for Packet Video Player.

Also I think the volume with the Dutch update is a little louder.

Not a lot more than the UK one but a little.

Just my 2 cents.

Cheers

sorry to drag this back on topic, but how is the dutch update for problems like sd card recognition, lock ups, battery life? Posted from my SmartPhone!

Hello,

the PacketVideo Player isn't some renamed player, it is a streaming video player from PacketVideo and is capable of playing mpeg4 file format.

It exists for Windows OS, Windows Mobile 2002/2003 (PocketPC), Symbian OS and MS Smartphone. The latest version (for Smartphones) is afaik 3.31.

Regards

G

thanks for clearing that up :D

Seconding what dr blow said, has it got any problems that are in the UK update, such as what dr blow said?

I'm pretty sure that packet video player was available for download from the Orange site last year.

I seem to remember it was a Simon Desser spot and I had it on my phone but uninstalled it because of the lack of use and potential costs compared to straight download of clips.

I don't have any lockups (sofar...)

Battery life is a little better than the UK I think but not much better.

Battery life still could be a lot better...
