Guest dj b Posted April 16, 2004 Report Posted April 16, 2004 hi there, i have just recently bought a motorola mpx200, i have no idea how to use it but i do no that i can download mp3s from my pc onto the phone, can some1 advice me how?? and it comes with a 16mb memory card, how can i get a bigger one and where from for how much? i no i am new to this site an may sound a bit cheeky asking for ur help, but please, any help will be great, thanks all..
Guest squall Posted April 17, 2004 Report Posted April 17, 2004 Welcome to the site :D For the basics check out the faq - dont worry about asking if you have questions. To transfer mp3s to the phone you need to install the activesync software from the sd, then put the phone in the cradle. Using windows explorer goto - mobile device/storagecard - and paste your mp3's there. As far as buying another card there are many threads about to discuss this - try the search function. My personnel favorite is www.ebuyer.com - i would look to get larger than 256mb.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted April 17, 2004 Report Posted April 17, 2004 Also the two must have applications you need on your phone are Smart Explorer and Task Manager the first for soting out files on the phone if you do not have the pc handy and the second is for helping to close down apps and free up memory.
