Guest waldeis Posted April 18, 2004 Report Posted April 18, 2004 Hi, i have tryed several versions of PocketMVP on my new Qtek 8080 (smartphone 2003) but no one works. They all crash when trying to load an avi file (tested with different files form different encoders). Strange is that after the crash i have to exit the storage card and put it in again because if not he only see strange folders on the card. So it would be great if someone can post a complete working version.
Guest Vector Posted April 18, 2004 Report Posted April 18, 2004 http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewtopic.php...t=pocketmvp+fix That one shoul work for you ;) it's one midnight patched to work on all smartphones... :D
Guest steverae Posted April 18, 2004 Report Posted April 18, 2004 This still doesn't fix the known issues concerning the e200 and Windows Media 2003. It installs okay, so does beta 3f, the patch from roozbeh fixes the searching for files options but the only options that work are action key - pause/unpause up/down - volume left/right - brightness 7 - backlight To exit wothout having to restart your phone, pause the movie, select resume last file from the menu and this will exit the program and let you start another one. Issues still waiting to be fixed are : Fast forward / rewind through files Time jump, jump to a specifyed point in file exit properly. Other than these, the program works okay.
Guest badboy4life Posted April 18, 2004 Report Posted April 18, 2004 I don't think there is one that properly works on SP2003, all of them only let you play one file per reboot. I think there maybe a fewe people working on patches to fix this.
Guest Skilty Posted April 19, 2004 Report Posted April 19, 2004 WM2003 - If you try pausing the video file with the action key, select.. File;open;Resume last. Pocket MPV then quits. You can then start it again and pick a different video file without the need to reboot or pull the battery etc.
Guest nedge2k Posted April 20, 2004 Report Posted April 20, 2004 There is no fully working version of PocketMVP unfortunately ;) A fully workin fix iis in the making :D
