Guest creature777 Posted April 19, 2004 Report Posted April 19, 2004 I was trying to sent some pics to my Sony PDA via bluetooth, the Xphone was able to see my PDA but upon sending the pics I found there is no way to sent them via bluetooth, only via "email". I then try to beam it and no lucky as well. I was also try to sent some pics from my Nokia phone to the Xphone. The Nokia was able to found the Xphone and "paired". The same issue again, when I send the pics, the Xphone cannot be found in the list of paired hardware. BTW, the Nokia & Sony combination works fine via bluetooth.
Guest samuel337 Posted April 19, 2004 Report Posted April 19, 2004 There is no in-built bluetooth file sending capability, but you can use a program called Smart Explorer to do it - the programmer has developed a way of doing it. The link to download it is: http://www.binarys.com/smartphone/beta_en.asp I have tested this by sending a picture from the xphone to a SE T610 and it works fine. good luck! HTH Sam

Guest creature777 Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 The SmartExplore is a great tool ... but I still can't pair my Xphone with my Sony PDA. The personl key screen did not show up in the PDA. Any idea?
Guest Vector Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 have you tried doing it the other way around, pair them from the PDA? :D
Guest creature777 Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 I was able to pair them either way but when I try to sent stuff over BT, the two machines was not able to talk.
