Problem with modaco site

I havent noticed this before so im assuming its just cropped up, but when you do a search or look at the list of recent posts some of the links to the posts dont work because the auto-linking feature thing is kicking in, ie for words like homescreen or plugin, and after that the rest of the topic title appears as unclickable text.

This means i cant get to some topics. Never seen this before!

That's been around for a bit. The best thing to do is a copy/paste directly into the browser address bar.

I've noticed that when doing a search I frequently get 'Cannot Insert Search Results', or something like that. Appart from that the site seems to work well, like a greased monkey! :D

The search now seems much better. :D

I like the logo as well. What does the 'eclipse' relate to?

Actually, that's made a whole new problem appear Paul. If I do a search parts of the title/link to the thread are highlighted and parts aren't. If the title happens to contain an automatic hyperlink (like Remy's Plugin topic) then that forms a separate link... Text after the linked word appears black rather than blue.

coucou, thats exactly what i was trying to say in my original post ;) so paul has been changing stuff today, i knew i hadnt seen this problem before today! :D

I've noticed something else.

From the main index page, when clicking the circles with the (M) in them on the left next to the name of the forum, it used to show you just the new posts since your last visit in ONLY the forum to which they are adjacent. Now they show posts from all forums (?)

(or is it just me :? )

On the mobile site I've noticed a problem where clicking on the topic title takes you to the original post but doesn't show any replies. Clicking on the last post "Go" does work however.

EDIT: Mind you, it's only happened once. I can't reproduce it now.

I must admit I don't think I've got anything against the Modaco 'Dude', he might think differently  but I spend so much time on this site at work that it does help not to have a cartoon character on screen when my boss comes over for a chat !

How about randomising the graphic or allowing users to submit designs for consideration. If the font stays the same of course.

Well done to Paul and Midnight for continuing their good work.

Click the Profile link at the top of the page, scroll down to Board Style and chose "midMoDaCoStealth". Looks more like an excel spreadsheet than a funky Smartphone site now, no? :D

Hey. With this new orange theme, this problem is now fixed. Cheers Guys.

Hope you don't break it when it goes back to the original MoDaCoDude theme.

:)
