Mitac mio 8390 HELP

hello i'm thinking very much about buying a 8390 on http://www.nowicom.com/artikel.php?artikel_id=652 but it is english,

now my question

can I take the danish software from the Spv E200 and but in on til 8390

I am afraid not. the mio rom is device specific. therfore only mitac roms will work on the phone.

But there is a firmware upgrade coming very soon, i have heard that they will be more languages available on the phone. so hopefully danish will be there for you.

There is already a non-official Extended ROM for the 8390 available. The ROM is not provided by Mitac and therefore not 'changed' but EXTENDED which means it supports other languages like Italian, French, German and Danish. The MMS Composer is also translated - no more Chinese.. Please don't ask me to provide it for download in this forum...

Welcome to the forum mate, well the rom does exist and its not all that great, languges are a great addition to it but besides that not much! Still no GAPI fix. oh well
