Microsoft has announced a preview release of OneNote 2003 Service Pack 1, a fantastic application for Tablet PCs!

The information page here includes a fanastic little piece of information...

New: Copy notes from a Microsoft Windows® Mobile™-based Pocket PC or Smartphone. Take notes on the go with your Pocket PC and copy them into OneNote. Also send recordings from a Smartphone into OneNote to track thoughts and reminders.

Woohoo!

As you can tell, i'm pretty excited about this, OneNote is a great app and Smartphone / Pocket PC integration makes a lot of sense.

Let's hope this is the first step of many along this road...

:D

I have a copy of OneNote and can't say i'm exactly jumping around the room about it... ;)

It's cool if you're organised though and Smartphone integration is always a good thing :D

I will probably bring my tablet with me on Saturday, seems like a good way to kill some time on the train finding out all of the new features.... 86% downloaded.....

I've never bragged that i am! Downloading now at 10k/s, is it just me or is that a really silly extensive registration process to get to the download?

Yeah you can install it on any version of Windows, at the very least to view .one files. But theres not much point creating them unless you have a tablet, which i do.
