Guest morpheus2702 Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 Please forgive me if this makes little since or is so obviously simple, but I am basing this on my friends comments who, admittedly does not have that much tech knowledge. He is trying to upgrade his onboard video card to a GeForce 128 (or something like that) - he fits the card and sees nothing. Taking the card out and rebooting allows him to see something again, but there doesn't seem to be an option to disable the onboard graphics card. Any help on the order of and how to do these operations appreciated!
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 If its an older board and you can't disable the onboard graphics in the BIOS there may be a jumper on the mobo itself...check the manual (download it from the manufacturers website if you don't have it).
Guest morpheus2702 Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 Cheers mono, I shall try and find out
