Anybody bought a smartphone recently from x1387 on eBay? I paid on 15th of April and still waiting... :cry: they aren't very responsive to my emails (they were, until I paid) :D

And how long does it take FedEx to deliver from USA to Europe?

...with a 99 % positiv feedback rate at over 9000 sells it sounds like you are just a victim of long shipping ways. it can take up to three weeks from us to europe, depending on the way it was shipped (ground, air, standard).

so try to get a tracking code from them for your shipment. tell them that you are nervouse because of the long response times and that you will post a negative feedback on the 01st of may if they cant send the tracking code or the package arrives before that day...

This is second time I ordered from them, first time Qtek7070 and I was very pleased with the package.

I think I will wait few more days and write again... I already asked about tracking code or possible delays, but they did not replay.

x1387 struck me as a little light on communication but half the time I got a response to the first email and the rest were responded to by the second email. Judging by the amount of feedback they have, I assume they're pretty busy but you paid for it, email them until you get a response and ask if it has shipped and if not, when it will ship. That worked for me and I'd buy from them again.

Just to ease any worrys, i was waiting around 3 weeks for an SD card last month when at Christmas an SD from the same seller arrived in 3 days...

Thanks, guys :D I hope my Mio 8390 arrives soon... If I knew, I wouldn't sell my old Qtek7070 so quickly.

I'm enjoying very old Nokia 6210 now, and one thing I love Nokia for is battery, it can last for a week! :lol:

But I still prefer smartphones ;)

Is it true that Mio 8390 has mono headset included?! Why not stereo? :shock:

They were supposed to ship it on monday, maybe they did, maybe not yet.

I have emailed them yesterday and asked if they shipped it. All I got was read receipt, no replay ;)

I wonder how many people are watching this thread, because they are considering x1387 eBay reseller as a place to buy a new Smartphone?

Anyway, here is the situation:

1. I won the auction (Buy now) on 7th of April.

2. I tried to pay via money order via www.bidpay.com, like I did a year ago when I bought Qtek7070 from x1387. It didn't work, BidPay kept cancelling my orders. Contacted them, thay told me it was "sellers" decision.

3. I opened an account with www.moneybookers.com, took few days to get "verified" status, but service is great, I uploaded money via bank transfer. Then I sent payment to x1387 (I chose no escrow).

4. Tried contacting x1387 to tell them I payd them, after a week or so they finally replied they will send on monday (26th of April). They were probably waiting for their money to arrive after they transfered it from their moneybookers account.

5. Package didn't arrive, so i emailed again and again... Got response on friday 30th of April, asked for tracking number. No replay that day, but got tracking number on 1st of May.

6. After checking with Fedex, turned out they sent the package, but not on monday a week ago like they said, but on 1st of May! It's the day they gave me tracking number :D

I'm currently tracking my package, currently it is in "NEWARK NJ", estimated delivery is May 7, 2004 by 6:00 pm ;)

So... today is 3rd of May, it's almost a month. I'm not mad at x1387, because I ordered from them a year ago and got Qtek7070 with no problems, well packaged, with everything as described on their auction.

I have also read that others were waiting 3 weeks for their package so I was prepared for this.

Maybe I will take pictures with my 3MPix camera after the package finally arrives, to let all know what's in the package :lol:

FINALLY I HAVE IT :)

Took some time, but was worth it!! This thing is so fast I still can't believe it. Qtek 7070 was a turtle. On Mio 8390 Media Player opens up instantly, I encode movies in DivX 5.1.1 with 128kbit 44KHz stereo audio, and I don't bother with lowering any video bitrates, just encode with default!! And BetaPlayer plays all that so SMOOTH :lol:

I bought a Mio 8390 off of x1387 2 days ago and had some trouble with Paypal. Apparently they have updated theres systems so that you must use a American Credit Card, in able to have a "confirmed" home billing address.

Well seeing as i live in England thats not gonna happen, I was overall quite pleased with there response, they let me know within the first day that they needed to confirm my identification, and asked for the required details, I gave it to them and then they sent me an email same day saying :

"We will ship your order tommorow"

:) cant wait, ill start the timer Schriss and see if mine arrives quicker than yours :lol:
