I am giving up on this phone.

Although I like gadgets, all I really want is decent call quality and battery life. Niether of which I really get.

Ornage are now charging me £100 upgrade fee and extending my contract back to a year.

Anybody had the same issue? Anybody got round it?

Anybody want to buy an E200. It is on ebay at the moment,

If what you mean by call quality is the in-call buzzing, I found the update completely solved this problem. As for the battery life, well, it's not great, even with the update.

Where, when did you buy the phone. Have you tried returning it and asking for a refund due to the points you mention? If you bought it from Orange you may be able to get a refund if you bought it recently and you kick up a big fuss.

If you're within the first 14 days of your contract (7 for upgrades) you can cancel the contract with no penalties.

E200 are on ebay, but I've not looked at prices, all ready got one.

The only way out of a contract is to buy yourself out (pay remainder line rental in lump sum).
