ive looked on varius web site and found a programme to unlock my spv to all networks. i got to the stage where itsays enter your code, so i did and after 5 minutes it said my phone was unlocked so i put a vodaphone sim card in and it says no service the phone can read the numbers off the sim card which before it couldnt does this mean the phone is blocked by orange

another thing to check is if you have the radio off...

Tap power button...If there is an option saying "airplane mode off", select it, if it says "airplane mode on", then that isn't your problem :D

There's a very good chance that the h/s is registered on the service providers blacklist, orange, voda, T-Mob and O2 all have them. Problem is they may refuse to talk to you if it is. If the h/s was originally reported stolen or lost it's almost certainly on one of them and since these list register by IMEI num, you'll have probs no matter what sim you put in it... Trust me i know this from first hand experience... :-)

Go to Settings-telephony-Networks and make sure that Network selection is set to Automatic. You could also try Menu-Select Network to confirm which are networks are found and select them manually.

Have you got an SD Card?, If you haven't, i advise you to get one... cheap places are http://www.ebuyer.co.uk and check ebay :D

If you have one, connect your phone to the PC, Sync it up using activesync, click "Explore" and then click "My Smartphone", then drag and drop the files into the Storage Card folder, or any other folder, but it's best to keep phone memory free and put music and large files on the SD Card ;)

check Orange update for keyboard drivers ;)

To get access to the camera, you need to use the picture manager, if the camera is plugged in and working then you'll see a 'New picture from camera' or somthing similar entry, as for music, i recomend using win lame/razor lame for win32, loading in the 'Phone settings profile' then encoding directly from 44.100Khz/Stereo/16 Bit CD Rips, you'll get an entire album on the 8Mb SD card that you get with the h/s. Create a folder on the Storage card called 'My Documents' then drop the encoded tunes in here. Fire up Media Player and bob's your uncle.

Have Fun...
