Guest rjm_27 Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 Does the Smartweak utility work for the MPx200? If so what option do I use? I've tried to run it and it will supposedly read my settings from my phone but it doesn't change any of the screens with in the software to reflect what I have on my phone. Is that normal?? I'd like to figure out how to change my boot up and shut down screens (easily) but I don't want to overwrite all my other stuff which, I'm afraid, if I do get the smartweak utility working right it might do when I copy the cab over. Let me know if anyone has had success with Smartweak working with the MPx200 along with what might need to be done to get it to run right. Thanks!
Guest Jandy Posted May 5, 2004 Report Posted May 5, 2004 me too - I'd like to know if this works on mpx200 :D
Guest goinnuts Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 it does work i use it as i cant write cab files.
Guest rjm_27 Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 Is there any preference to what I pick when the app starts? Either SPV1/E10 or E200? I have the MPx200 and of course it's not listed so will either work? Do I also have to do the "Install Security Off on your SPV?" on my AT&T MPx200? I haven't had any problems installing applications on my phone before. This won't screw anything up will it?? I've tried playing with the app before and I've tried having it "Read Phone Config" but it looks like it's reading it but when it comes back it doesn't show what's configured on my phone in the windows. I thought that was the whole point to see what's installed on the phone and change what you want. I guess I'm confused!! Any help would be great!
Guest goinnuts Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 you need to select spv/e100 as it sends the images to the ipsm. if you choose e200 it will try to send the images to to storage. which doesnt exist.
Guest MPXtricky Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 I've changed both startup screens and both shutdown screens with this app and it works a treat. One thing though, you *must* use .GIF piccies - no Jpegs or bitmaps
Guest kailes Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 i can't seem to find the english version...
