Guest nickcornaglia Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 you can delete the cemail.vol file in Storage. This will delete all of your mail....but will get rid of those pesky corrupt mails that wont delete.

Guest ferret Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 You might have to app unlock your phone first. As an aside, is this a phantom SMS, and do they exists on the voyager variants?

Guest ferret Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 yea, they do! very annoying! i dunno what to do with them though Does that dbviewer method work on the e200, qtek etc.
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 If your system is using the file, you can't modify it. Do some registry tweaking first. Im not familiar with qtek8080 but on e100 units, changing the MAPI entries from IPSMcemail.vol to Storage Cardcemail.vol , reboot phone, deleting cemail via ActiveSync does the trick. After deleting the file, switch back to the default settings. (IPSMcemail.vol) :D
Guest ferret Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 My phone is completly unlocked.... Then if you want to delete cemail.vol it looks like you'll have to do what pzee has suggested.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 Another way is to change the file extension from .vol to .old now reboot your phone and a new cemail.vol file will be created enabling you to delete the old file. on another note have you tried this solution?, Phantom SMS
