Guest RickDawson Posted April 22, 2004 Report Posted April 22, 2004 would this do to charge the original SPV? http://maplin.co.uk/products/module.asp?QV...-131&Products=1 any other ideas of how to charge the battery other than using mains electric?

Guest RickDawson Posted April 22, 2004 Report Posted April 22, 2004 Battery extender from here : http://www.yoursmartphoneshop.com/ You know the phone can be charged from your PC via a USB hotsync cable ? I'm looking at how to keep my mobile going, when I have no mains and not near my pc or a car. It has to be portable... The battery extender looks promising... do the batteries charge the spv battery, or does the phone just convert to using the extender, as if it was the only battery pluged in? how long does it last?
Guest Disco Stu Posted April 23, 2004 Report Posted April 23, 2004 It recharges the battery. Took one to a 3 day festival once and used 2 sets of 4 batteries for the weekend. It's pretty slim considering too :D
Guest RickDawson Posted May 18, 2004 Report Posted May 18, 2004 I have now got the battery extender. I'll see how it goes, when I'm not around a mains supply :)
