Guest niravp Posted April 22, 2004 Report Posted April 22, 2004 I’m trying to develop and test out a wap push message, that must be delivered to my mobile phone. I can get it to work on my desktop emulator, but now it’s time for the real thing. Has anyone out there connected their GSM phone to Openwave’s development server? From my understanding...and it is very limited...Openwave gives instructions to allow you to connect your mobile phone (set up an internet profile) to connect your gsm phone to their gateway IP+ a port. Then you can use Openwave’s SDK to send wap push messages and it will be sent to your mobile phone. I have a MPx200 Motorola smart phone, and AT&T states that it is Wap-Push compliant. I just can’t make sense of it’s settings. Rrrrrr. Openwave's instruction: http://developer.openwave.com/dvl/resource...ay/edevgate.htm If there is anyone out there that could help, I’d love to hear from you.
