Guest b1uepower Posted April 23, 2004 Report Posted April 23, 2004 I did the uk update on my E200 and it did it but wasnt good at kept crashing and stuff. so orange tech support said try doing it again so i did the update software crashed my computer so i had to disconect the phone and tryed to turn it on. and now all it does when you turn it on says "card Found" tryed doing a format didnt work the phone just keeps restarting. :D now iam waiting for orange tech support to get back to me and they are taking there time. any idea?
Guest Vector Posted April 23, 2004 Report Posted April 23, 2004 boot the phone up into the bootloader(multi-coloured screen) and plug the phone into the cradle and run the update again ;) same happened to me :D

Guest XPhoneGeek Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 It's most likely because you're all running background apps whose thread priority is greater than UpgradeUT.exe. Simply shutting down these apps, closing extranious processes via task manager and/or rebooting your system prior to running the upgrade fixes 99.9% of these issues. Cheers

Guest b1uepower Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 ive just got a phone call from orange sayin we can replace your phone. and i wanted them to do that about a week ago... since i got the phone working its been havin problems so ive accetped the replacement phone should come tomorrow.
