Midnight and Muff have ruined my life...

I'd just about decided to go for the Treo 600 as my next upgrade, in a couple of weeks, when Alien Invetion release Eclipse. Now I'm undecided all over again :x

If I change platform I won't get to play this game.

If I take a few deep breaths and calm down I'll see that it's only a game, it doesn't matter if I don't get to play it, the silky smooth play and graphics really aren't all that important. The Treo can do spreadsheets, which are more useful. It's the right decision for a sensible grown-up who doesn't have time to play games any more...

Arrggghh, the indecision is tearing me apart!

Unfortunately I can't really afford to keep two phones, besides I've had a few offers on the spv already, I could still change my mind and go for an e200 but I think I'm going to go for the treo. I just wish I hadn't played the demo and was blissfully unaware of what I'll be missing. Games and multimedia don't play that big a part of my normal phone use, but maybe that's because most games are cack and I've only got a 64 mb card.

I can't get a phone just because a decent game or two has been released for it. I mean, the platform has been out for a couple of years now and the number of games which have held my attention for more than two days can still be counted on one hand.

I can resist Eclipse, I can resist Kumite, I can resist Eclipse, I can resist Kumite, I can resist...

Hello, my name is Coucou and I've gone without Eclipse for two hours now. I'm still taking it one hour at a time.

Eeeeesh! Palm OS??!!

At least get a PPCPE....once you've used PPCs or Smartphones I dont know how anyone can go back to Palms. (Though the Treo's are nice in form...I could NEVER go back to that OS.

You'll be back sooner or later!

Now that's a pure matter of opinion. I'm quite prepared to agonize over the fact that there won't be any games as good as Eclipse on the Treo but having used both Palm and Smartphone OS I still prefer Palm. I haven't used ppc pe but I don't want to get an expensive brick. Maybe if they make a one-handed small ppc pe I'll try it out!

Ah poor Coucou! I'm in the same dilemma though and I'm yet to try Eclipse!

Five mins away from London and the meet now!

siu99spj, you really should have bought eclipse before going to the meet, it would have made your journey much more fun :D

Treo.  Been there, done that.  Yuk!

SPV. Been there, done that. Yuk! In my opinion the Treo is a much better and fundamentally more useful device.

Considering the journey's a mere 25 minutes for me AND I had more important things to do (Like surf Modaco!) I don't think I was in need of more fun! :D

But I promise to buy it once I figured out this damned install problem, though a hard reset seems the only way to go at the moment...
