Guest dafadau Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 I've set my spv to silent (v. useful in lectures or meetings), but when I use it I still get the error sound even though I've set the error tone to nothing!

Guest hotphil Posted December 20, 2002 Report Posted December 20, 2002 I think I remember seeing a post from Neil where he said that a work around is to switch to Silent profile then use the volume button to turn the earpiece volume down to minimum. Apparently, that doesn't actually affect the earpiece's in-call volume, but does mute the alerts etc. It should also remember that setting when you switch to Silent the next time. Not tried it though. Phil
