Guest Vector Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 are you sure it's the Smartphone version and not the pocket pc version?
Guest ferret Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Also worth checking your homescreen timeout. It's under Settings > Homescreen. Saying that, DavidRM's suggestion is probably the most correct.
Guest xxxomxxx Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 well thx for both suggestions, timeout is to 10s, is that too short? and software version, well, i really dont know, since i cannot change anything, it just goes and installs it, how can i get it to install the "correct" version? thx cobra
Guest Vector Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 set the Homescreen timeout to never and insall again :D
Guest ferret Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 The timeout setting is the amount of time to wait until the phone reverts back to the homescreen, try reinstalling the app with the timeout set to never. To install the correct version you'll need to download the Smartphone Version. It's available over at www.handango.com - it's not free though. To be honest I think you've got the PPC version but worth double checking before you flex the old credit card.
Guest jim.mason Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 You are probably using the PPC version, follow http://www.handango.com/PlatformProductDet...=pocket+streets to purchase the smartphone edition. the only problem I had when installing is that it reset my phone and locked it!!!
