mpegs wont play without freezing, any advice?

Hi im playing mpegs through pocket tv - some small some large - but they keep crackling and stalling while playing - im playing them off a 256mb kingston sd.

Any help would be great,

You may want to check the bit rate of the video and audio. if its too high, the phone cant process as fast and hence, the symptom.

I use tmpgenc to encode my video before i transfer to my phone.

i downloaded the template for smartphone :D

I agree with Attention. I would check the bit rates. Did you use the templates from PocketTv with Tmpegc. I play large size files like 218MB movies and they play fine with a accepteable bit rate.

Try the smartphone fullscreen to start out. Get something working before you push it. I do a lot of graphic card mods and every card has a different capability. I think the processor in our MPX's has a similar performance. Some are better than others in process speed.
