Font editing help needed

Hi

I'm currently using Akbar in my Simpsons theme and the thing is it does something weird to the settings page (look here )

or just take a glance at the attached gif :D

I figure the problem is that the height of the font is set way too high somewhere in the ttf, but how do I change this or what should I be looking for?

I'm using a program called "Font Creator Program 4", but since I'm an absolute rookie to the linguistics of type faces I don't know what to look for.
