Guest ajb3000 Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 I've read all the posts on here and narrowed my selection down to just two. Can you please give your opinions on these two headsets, when utilised the the e200 AFTER installing the update.
Guest ferret Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 I've got the Mini Blue one, works fine for me after the update (I had to rebond them first). Everything works as it should. Quality is a bit patchy, breaks up quite a bit if the phone is not in direct line of sight with the headset. Have read that the headset is fine with other phones so it might be down to the e200 BT. When my head is not in the way I get a good range. It's small, some people have questioned it's build quality but mines fine, I keep it in the ashtray of my car and it's still in one piece with my driving style!
Guest PaFF Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 I've had the Konnect mini- blue and exchanged it for the M3000 as the rubber earbud came away within two days!!!
Guest shadamehr Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 Mini Blue works fine for me with the E200. BUT, it DOESN'T work with an XDA2 without the use of software such as Bluetooth tools, to restore some of the proper profiles MS left out of the Bluetooth stack on the XDA2.
Guest ferret Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 I've had the Konnect mini- blue and exchanged it for the M3000 as the rubber earbud came away within two days!!! They're supposed to come off! It comes with two additional differently shaped rubber ear buds depending on the size of you hole. ( Did I just say that? )
Guest ajb3000 Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 So what's the mini blue like with the phone in a trouser pocket? Both on the same side and opposite side of your body. Also any views on the M3000?
Guest PaFF Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 I know the ear bud is supposed to come off. ;) But both the interchangable part and the fixed part came off exposing the wires. It was hanging off by these only. :D
Guest bloodangel Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 I use an M3000 and problems so far are - No buttons work with the phone except pick up and put down. Random unpaiing and disconnection during calls (THis may be E200 related). A bugger to get round our ear sometimes and does an arf hurt after a while lol

Guest ajb3000 Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 What buttons do/don't work with the mini blue? Also what's the audio quality like with the M3000?
Guest bloodangel Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 Also what's the audio quality like with the M3000? Seemed fine to me, nothing major;y bad ive noticed.
Guest Will Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 well i'm using m3000 works well, some little issues, but it always pairs and bonds... not used anything else so cannot compare, BUT i did a fair bit a research before parting with my £50 and decided the m3000 was best! Will
Guest ajb3000 Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 I think I'll be going for the Plantronics, the only thing putting me off was the crappy earloop, but searching the net I found these: http://sales.isolan.co.uk/Modules/headsets...ProductID=14781. To someone who has one, do these look different/better than the ones it comes with? They are titled 'comfort' so here's to hoping.
