Guest mattartist Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 Hi all, Just a warning. Couldn't see similar searching the forums so hope i'm not duplicating a post. Today I received a text on my E200 from +447973100620. "Message from Orange Customer Service. Please call 249 from your handset in the UK. Thank you." Seemed dodgy to me (despite waiting for a response from OCS Tech dept) so called Orange's 150 and an Orange rep checked out the numbers. She agreed it was potentially a scam. Still, it may still indeed be Orange (judging from previous OCS!) but this is just to warn other Orange(/e200) customers. Anyone else know more?
Guest ChrisJM Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 yea, i have recieved similar, but these are usually from Orange!
Guest xmob Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 It's nothing to worry about. It's Orange Customer Relations. They'll just ask you what you think of them

A Left Hand / Right Hand interface issue maybe?
Guest Dade Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 I had one of these a while ago. They hung up on me because they asked me what I thought of Orange and I told them what I REALLY thought!
