Where to find inexpensive MPX200?

I have this phone, but I paid $300 in the US for the ATTwireless network. Mine was issued by ATT, and I think it is locked in to their network.

After I bought it, I of course saw it for less, but I don't recall where. I have also seen them where they are not locked in to a particular network.

Has anyone seen it for cheap lately? And what is it called when you can't move the phone to a different carrier?

When you cannot move a phone to a different carrier it is

called being SIM Locked this can easily be overcome though

with florin's unlock service.

As for cheap phones apart from contract your other option is

via ebay but then you have to run the gauntlet with dodgy

sellers ans stolen phones.
