Just unlocked my svp, now it locks up on the sunset screen!

my svp phone has just been unlocked and worked fine till i turned it off, then when i turned it on, all i get now is the sunset screen, i dont get anything else, has anyone got any ideas how i can reset it (as easy as possible) and get it back to normal please?

Note: After a hard reset the phone will take much longer to boot up (several minutes).
