Is anyone aware of a prelim list of what extras are going to be in the next release of the compact framework.

Be nice to know if any / what parts of OpenNet CF will be included or what other bonuses will be included. Which of these extras will be avaliable on the SmartPhone? Will any features of v1 be pushed to the SmartPhone in v2 - be nice to see SQLCE support.

Also can anyone confirm if v2 will ship with Whidbey, with Windows Mobile 2004 (that still due in 2004?) or as a seperate release :?:

.NETCF will be released at the same time as Whidbey (now officially known as Visual Studio 2005).

Major features announced at MDC for release include:-

COM Interop

System.Messaging namespace

Cryptography

Additional forms controls (DateTimePicker, WebBrowser etc)

Much richer P/Invoke marshalling support
