Some programs show in different language on my SPV

My Orange SPV shows some program names in a different language. I have set the Language ti US English. Still the SIM Manager shows as Gestion de la SIM. I want English! Help!

Welcome to the site :D

In Settings check what the Locale is set for this could be your problem if the language it set correctly.

Unless you have the French ROM and that is the cause :?

I checked my Locale with is set to (English US). Where is the best site to pull down the newest ROM. The ROM form the Orange site always hangs on me.

you dont have the uk rom installed on your phone, so the only way you can install the rom is to swap the nbf, after the update fails, then copying in those nbf files to the french rom and installing that

I tried to install ROM version 1.5 but I still got the attached error. Do I need to upgrade from 1.36 to somethig else first before going to version 1.50?

like i said you cant upgrade from one countrys rom to another without following the method posted above
