SPV E100 won't show upcomming events on home screen

For some reason, my spv has stopped displaying upcoming calendar, events on my home screen all I get is an empty space where it used to be- if I click on it it takes it to my diary- any ideas how to get it to do it again?

if you have installed a homescreen, uninstall and reinstall

if you are using an orange theme try changing it in settings/homescreen to a different one then changing back, or install a custom theme from the modaco homescreen forum
