ive had no problems with the trial, i have an e100 and win2k, you might wanna go to jeyo.com and go to thier support forum and ask there.

Not sure if im going to buy it or not though, its good and i like the interface a lot but there are some features i think it lacks that i really want, i wish i could program and had the time to do so (cos according to jeyo they wont be releasing a update for the companion for "several months") then i could make a program myself for composing and reading sms. ah well

Zeta, you can send sms and read them using Jeyo Mobile Companion, if you cant you must be missing some files, open up jeyo mobile companion and look at the toolbar at thte top you will see and tab box which says new sms!!

Hope your able to use now. :)

no no you missunderstand :) i can compose and read sms easily, infact i like it a lot for that but its just a few things that annoy, such as you having to manually press the refresh button to see if you have any new sms (or having to do it when u get a sms and know) it would be much nicer if it worked like a "push" technology, which would require some changes to the phone side application. I'd also really love some kind of PC based notification for an sms, like a sound event and then a popup window with the sms there ready for me to read  Also minimising to taskbar woud be nice too.

I know they seem like little things, but im just lazy and want everything done for me lol

I´m using Outlook 2002 SP-2 (10.4712.4219) with the only version of Mobile Extender available now (1.0). And would like to ask:

- every time when I close down Outlook, it will generate crash report for Microsoft. When I looked in the report, there is:

AppName: outlook.exe AppVer: 10.0.4510.0 ModName: jeyomo~1.dll

ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00003a16

WHY???

- when I try to create new SMS, it takes quite a long time to appear contacts from the adresse book in the TO: or Adresse Book buttons. And it takes this long time every time - not only for first time use. Why? Doing something wrong?

Thanks for answers.. I would like to know, if it´s only me or common problem...

ive had a look at this app too, you should know that this is a different app to the companion. But anyway it seems to be unstable for me too, so ive uninstalled it. You could email jeyo or post on thier forum, but you might have to wait for a reply. You will always get bugs in new software, its up to jeyo to correct them.

I posted exactly the same report in their forum and sent it by e-mail as well. I think, it will be great application, but the periodic crash is annoying. I´m switching between outlook profiles 10 times a hour, so it´s quite critical for me.

I bought it and I ma using Outlook 2003 and it crashed Outlook each time to close it down.

Also when the compose new SMS window opens it is halfway off the screen to the right hand side.

Also, what does send & receive do? I can't seem to get the sms messages from my phone into Outlook.

I thought they should arrive in the sms inbox by default? They don't here.

Definitelly post report in the support forum at their web site. I already got response from tech support over there. It may help them a lot.
