far cry what do u think?

got lots of pc games this year and haven't finished cause i can't be arsed! been playing far cry demo for pc. thought it was crap at start but like it now. just completed first level this morning but is it worth buying or should i wait for half life? Posted from my SmartPhone!

I loved both of the Far Cry demos, the first one was probally the better of the two (the one where you start in the boat). I'd totally recommend you get it (if you have a decent PC). The scope of the game is massive and far more freeform than your normal shooter. Besides half life is still a few months away. you'll need something to fill the gap.
