I've installed something called TennisAddictDemo.exe on my SPV E200 (it runs throught eh setup screen on the computer, tried transferring it to phone but it won't run from there - access denied), and it's not on my phone.

I can't find it in the start menu, in the games menu, in the accessories folder. I even went to Start>Settings>Remove Programs, but it's not there. I uninstalled from PC it said uninstalled successfully but my memory is still down. So then I started looking using Smart Explorer if I can find it anywhere, but no luck. I've even installed it again and it ate ANOTHER MegaByte! What's it doing? And, I've just realised, it's happened before with other applications, including that Theme Changer, Smart ICU, and this Tennis demo.

Now my memory has gone from 13MB to 9.94MB so I'm losing memory each time I install :D

What's going on? Where can I find my memory back, where's it gone? My phone is application-unlocked if that info is of any significance.

Please help, thankyou ;)

Have you checked StoragewindowsAppMgrInstall? Delete anything in there - that's where failed installs are saved.

There's nothing there (according to Smart Explorer - and I believe it). I even highlighted it and it showed up as 0 bytes selected.

Thanks for your reply, any more help very much appreciated.

Do you mean storage memory or program memory?

Go to Task Manager and see if its storage memory or program memory you have lost. Chances are you have lost program memory.

Use Task Manger to quit all running programs and within Task Manager select 'refresh'from menu item. This will regain some lost memory but probably not all. Now switch off the phone and switch back on. Go back to Task Manager and see how much more memory you have reclaimed!

It seems that terminated applications on the SPV E200 do not relase all their memory back.

And why is it that most applications on the SPV E200 have no 'exit'? This means you have to use Task Manager to terminate them!

By storage memory I mean storage memory i.e. not physical/program memory. In SP Task Manager it's the memory shown in the /Storage Folder, NOT the figure shown in "Phys. Memory".

Please help somebody! Thanks.
