Guest nazkor Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 Hello, I post my question to this forum, since I have a mpx200, not sure if this is hardware specific. I have trouble with the sound volume on PocketMVP. When I switch off the phone and back on again and then play one song, the sound is nicely strong and loud, but that changes after about 2 minutes and it goes down to a very low volume. The settings remain the same and alarm and such is still loud, only the playback of sounds with PocktMVP and with Media Player as well are softened in a measure that it is nearly impossible to enjo the songs. Does anyone have an idea what happens? Even the menu clicks inside the PocktMVP are way softer then.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 Sounds daft but need to check, are you touching the direction pad at all? as updown controls the volume setting.
Guest nazkor Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 No, I am doing absolutely nothing, just letting the phone on the table playing, then it switches down the volume just by its own without changing any visible settings (in PocketMVP, headphone or anyhwere else) and I am not able to make it louder again except by switching the phone off and on again.
Guest nazkor Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 It seems I have solved this problem only to run into another... I receive sms from my provider (prepaid card from Vodafone) and I can delete them as often as I want, they will return some minutes later. This was the case right from the start. So I switched the notification sound for any kind of message to "No sound". This causes the playback sound of PocketMVP to be drastically reduced after the first notification after switching the unit on. Quite some strange relations between the different parts of the phone. Anywaay sound is fine now I need to get rid of the annoying notification. I have some ideas in mind, like using a silent wav-File but if anyone has a better idea please feel free to tell me.
