Hi folks. I've been reading through the threads on apps and games and stuff and all the time I see abbreviations and terms that are unfamiliar to me regarding compatibility.

I've got a Samsung i-600 here in the USA and I can't figure out which apps are compatible with my phone. I always see like E200, orange, SPV, etc.. dunno what any of these mean. So, am wondering how to figure out which apps are compatible.

ok...

these are all names of smart phones. The spv classic (or just spv) the spv e100 and the mpx200 all run the 2002 operating system, this is what the i600 has, so if something isnt spv or e100 compatible it wont run for you either. Good thing is most things will work on the 2002 OS cos that was the first one.

The e200 is a new phone, and its the only one runnign the 2003 operating system, if something says it will only work on e200 then it wont run for you im afraid.

Orange is just a UK cellphone network, like T-mobile for example.

Basically all you need to look out for are apps saying they are only compatible with e200 and avoid them and youll be ok.
