Guest andyhud Posted May 1, 2004 Report Posted May 1, 2004 Right guys, I don't know how much you'll be able to help here.. but here goes. My E200 (UK) is on Vodafone and is working great. Everything configured and fine. However my Activesync works slightly different to (I imagine) most users. For the techies out there I'm running Microsoft Exchange 2003 Server which allows Activesync over the internet. So I dont actually use the cradle to sync mail etc. I can do it wherever I am over the internet. It works great, HOWEVER, in my Outlook I have lots of inbox subfolders (friends, family, work etc) and in Activesync setup on the phone it does not show these subfolders where as it did on my old Pocket PC Phone Edition (XDA II) Is it possible to sync inbox subfolders via activesync this way on the Smartphone (I know it works on Pocket PC/Pocket PC Phone Edition) or do you have to use the cradle for this method..? and now a small shameless plug... if anyone wants a "@homedrinking.co.uk" email address with this feature, let me know and I can set you up! :D Cheers guys. Andy
Guest adj Posted May 3, 2004 Report Posted May 3, 2004 Yes you can. Inbox ActiveSync Menu Accounts/Folders Folders Menu Manage Folders A list of all your folders will appear. Select the ones you want to sync and click show. HTH Andy
Guest paulgibson Posted May 5, 2004 Report Posted May 5, 2004 You may have issues with exchange if the folders are PST rather than OST, as if they are PST they are stored within your windows domain profile, and not on the exchange server - hense unable to sync as they don't "really" exist!!
Guest andyhud Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 Its ok mate.. they are all on the mailbox store on the exchange server.. All is well :) Thanks mate
