Help my E200 is dead!!!

I went to the orange website to download the update to improve battery life etc. It wiped the phone but then when it came to update it with the newer verison I just kept getting and error 113. This then told me to remove the battery for 30 secs and then replace and retry. I did this a hundred times and still no luck. I have only had the phone for a day and am gutted. Please can anyone help me with this one or do I need to return it to the place where I bought it for a replacement??? :cry:

try to run update from canary (tri colour )screen

Tried this but same problem. The update gets to stage 2 and the phone shows upgrade 0% completedd but then the update error 113 comes up again. Any other ideas anyone??

had a look there tto but no help, it seems everyone in that forum had no problems with the download. I have also checked all the requirements. Active Sync 3.7.1 was installed and working my e200 was connected to the cradle which was connected to the pwer supply and the whole thing is plugged directly into one of my pc usb ports.

Can the phone boot upat all? ie get to the Canary screen?

If it can then it is repairable.

Thanks guys. problem solved. There must be a problem with the orange update. If you down load and store to pc both the swiss update and the uk one and then take the uk rom and use that one to replace the swiss rom and then use the swiss application to run it all it works. thanks again for your help
