Memory card cannot be detected

I have this problem my transcend 128 MMC just stopped working.. it cannot be detected by my task manager and when my card reader hangs when trying to read my MMC.

Is there anyway I could make my MMC work again?? If not can I use my warranty?? And I've been using this card for 3 months pa lang :? :?

Kapag di nag hang, try mo i-backup muna yung laman nya then saka mo i-format.

Pag ayaw talaga, balik mo sa pinagbilhan mo to claim warranty. :wink:

I guess there is no other way kudi claim ko na lang warranty.... suko na ako at di na talaga nadedetect... thanks sa reply dude :D

i also have a prob with my mmc... i have 128mb twinmos mmc card, it can be detected in my phone -- dosn't have any prob. using it there... but with my card reader it can't be detected... my win98 hangs everytime i insert it there on winxp it can't be seen what do you think is the problem?

the problem may be with your card reader.... what kind or brand of card reader do you have??

I was using my card reader when my mmc got "destroyed".... first my windows hangs then the next thing i know my card became undetectable so be careful when using card readers... :)

they warn me not to format my mmc card using the card reader.... e how can i format it there it even be detected waaa...

@sliver - so u mean card reader's are not recommended for mmc cards? that it's not safe to use it for mmc's?

how come cf cards are easier to access... hhhhhhhuuuuuuuuuu :)

You can use SP Task Manager to format your Storage Card...pero since hindi ma-detect yung card, hindi mo cya mafo-format. :)

well its only my opinion due to what i have experienced, i didnt say card readers are not recomended for mmc's or something... and for cf cards I have no trouble running it on any card readers and hope it will stay that way :)
