Please help! Bootloader v1.00

I have been reading about unlocking my Orange SPV e100 with bootloader v1.00 but everything I try is not working. I am also, not able to find the stuff to downgrade (or Upgrade) the software to anything! (the v.99). I am really frustrated here!!! :x maybe I should start over from the beginning. Please help me out here! What do I do and where do I go to find it. I have tried using spvunlock2 and the spvunlock found off of this site, but neither works. Thanks, Joseph

spvunlock2 should work, you have to put your phone in the 3 colour screen mode, by holding record and power button when switching on, then inserting into cradle and running program

unfortunately that does not work. I did that, and it says, "Error setting link parameters". I don't know what this means. It's in the canary MV v1.00 (three colour) screen. It says USB at the bottom. I don't know what else to try. Any other ideas?

Sounds like you have not ended the wcescomm.exe in Task Manager on your pc. Follow the guide in this link SIM unlock

SIMunlock V2 will work with your phone, as you are running the 1.5 update which has bootloader V1.00 and is lower than the 1.6 update has bootloader 1.10

Also remember you must have Win XP or 2k on the pc as 98 and ME will not work.
